Wow, person above, she did not ask for your condesending attitude, she asked what kind of uggs to get. If you are not answering the question, or have recommendations, then keep your opinions to yourself. If she has the money to buy her daughter Uggs then let her.
Anyway, I checked the Ugg website to see which styles were avaiable for kids and young adults. If she is still in kids sizes the Deme version is cute, if she wears adult sizes then definitly the sunburst tall or the classic short in tan or sand. This style is very in right now (I just did not know what it was called). If your daughter is short I would go with the classic short, as it would be more proportional to her height. If your daughter likes color, the short comes in both a light blue and a pink at Nordstroms.

Definitely hgih, light brown with a strip of fur right towards the ankle and pom-poms. Those are definitely in right now. Then you roll the top down so more fur shows. Verry cutee. Since your daughter is younger, she might want a pair in pink or purple.
The cutest way to wear Uggs right now is either with tucked in jeans or a skirt above the knee.

omg i owe like 40 pairs of uggs. The one lots of people are wearing are the tanish brown ones.
