Your baby's heartbeat will start between the 5th and 6th week. It does not start at conception, there is no heart formed at that point. You may be able to see the heartbeat as early as 6 weeks and hear it around 12 weeks.

From what i saw on Discovery it said the heart starts beating at conception

At conception but sometimes it takes the Dr until 6-7 weeks to hear it.

5 weeks the heart begins to beat...U may not hear or see it just yet,but if u are least 6 weeks then u can see the heartbeating in the chest of your little bean on ultrasound...good luck!
