He flipped out but we never saw him get fired or resign, now he's gone. What happened to him? Is his contract up?

If you go to NBC.com and watch the producers cut of that episode you see the deleted scene where Andy brags out being sent to "Management Training..... ok, Anger Management Training." ahaha

But last week Ed Helms just got promoted from being a featured character on the show to being a series regular. YAY! He'll be gone for the next month at Anger Management but he'll be back in March.

Can't wait for the Dwight/Andy/Jim shenanigans to resume!

In late July 2006, NBC announced that Ed Helms would join the cast of The Office, a show in which former Daily Show correspondent Steve Carell also stars, in a recurring role as Jim Halpert's smarmy colleague, Andy Bernard, at Dunder-Mifflin's Stamford branch for at least ten episodes of the third season. In February 2007, NBC announced that Helms had been promoted as a series regular.

Helms finally returned to the Daily Show on December 5, 2006. He stated he had been gone because he was "undercover at a paper company in Scranton", referencing his stint on The Office as ex-Stamford now Scranton employee Andy Bernard.

Looks like Andy will still be around, I love the way her interacts with Dwight. I guess he just wasn't on like how sometimes we dont see Toby or Oscar

I was wondering that, too. Maybe he's out sick.

BTW, The Office is the best show I've watched since the early years of ER.

I asked myself the same exact thing. I guess we will find out next week.
