It mainly went south because, in the north threr was more population in the cities, and the cities were closer together, In the south there were almost no major cities and it was mostly plantations, the southern people needed slaves to run their plantations at almost no price.

There was a large need for slavery in the south because of the many large farms and plantations. Acres and acres of plantations were farmed by one owner, so they needed many cheap laborers.

Well in the south they had big plantations that needed to be worked so they just had slaves go and do the crops and any stuff that needed to be done.

will because the south is where you found the most arable land. Hence that is where farm labor was needed.

There was the obvious human rights issue
also having to feed and cloth the slave started becoming impractical.

That's what they believe to their right, that's what the big part of the civil war was about.
It is said that all slaves were freed in 1865, we know that's a lie

because they thought it was still okay to do that. Or another reason why is because they thought they coudl make their own laws without thinking of the real laws. Pure Descrimination.
