I think you can get a reverse cutting drill bit
for just such situations at Sears, Home Depot, Lowes and other hardware type stores.

take a punch and place it on the screws head the strike the punch with a hammer. it should flatten out enough to be removed. if not try a left handed drill
a left handed drill is a reverse cutting bit. if your screw is broken then i would suggest a screw extractor. i`ve worked as an industrial mechanic and have done this countless number of times.

I have had excellent success with this problem by using a Torx wrencha little larger that the allen wrench needed, and tapping it into the damaged allen socket. The Torx wrenches are slightly tapered and grip fairly well. I have used this on hundreds of stripped allens of all sizes in the maintenance business.

If you have a flathead screwdriver that will fit in the allen screw you might be lucky enough to get it out that way....Or try using a little larger allen wrench..If that doesn't work go to the auto parts store and tell them your problem they do make a special tool for that problem...
