Why is everyone trying to run my life?

I'm 23 yrs. old with a college degree, & I'm on my own. Just because I have a boyfriend, people are forcefully telling me, "YOU BETTER NOT GET PREGNANT!", knowing that they don't give a good God damn about me. & these people barely know me, & plus, they won't be a significant figure in my future life.

if your on your own and 23, it doesn't matter what they say, you make your own decisions now, you can get pregnant anytime you want, your an adult TAKE CHARGE!!!! ( D

Cause some people dont have a grip on there own lifes its easier to control others! The question here is do you want a baby? Have you ever even talked about it? What do YOU want to do with your life? Tell people i value your opinion but im a grown woman and will make my own choices back off! Life happens when you least expect it ;)!

Even so bored that doesnt give anyone any right to tell someone how to live! Being 23 and having a baby is better then 14 go preach to those people and back off! You are absolutely correct. You have no one to answer to except yourself. Also you are correct in saying, "No one gives a Good God Damn about you.". That most likely includes the guy or the next or the next. You are very young and most likely have not experienced a real mental or physical *** whippin. Now when that occurs, and it surely will, No crying, no whining, no self pity, simply keep on going. I am sure you are somewhat intelligent. That being so, always remember The Buck Stops Here. Everything that happens for you or to you is the result of YOUR choices.

Some people think they know whats good for everyone else. At 23, I say your old enough to make your own decisions and if you want to get pregnant, go for it. It's not like you live at home with Mom and your 13. Just tell them "thank you, but I'm a grow woman and I can make adult decisions on my own."

They just assume as 23 you are having sex and don't want to get pregnant since you're not married.

You realize they won't be a figure in your future life so f*ck 'em! If you want a baby, go for it and if not, I'm sure you can handle it yourself.

because people have an almost irresistable urge to organise other people's lives for them, we just can't stop ourselves, why else do we trawl through questions finding ones we want to answer. It's so much easier than organising your own life after all.
