I studied really hard for my school spelling bee, and I won. She didn't study as hard as me or my other friend, but she still got second place. And she REALLY wants to go to the second round, and she studies for it A LOT. And, since I wanted her to be happy, and I wanted more time with her, I promised her that I would fake that I was sick on the day of the Spelling Bee so that she could go if she got us more than 30 min. on the phone every day. But if I didn't go, my parents would be REALLY disappointed, and so would I. I'm going to tell my friend that the deal's off. Am I making the right decision?

I think you're already feeling guilty knowing that you wouldn't be doing your best. the only person right now you need to worry about is making yourself happy and doing the best that you can. It's not your fault that your fault that she didn't study as much or as well as she should have now she knows that she has to follow things through if she wants something bad enough that she has to work for it. Why punish yourself for something that you said you'd do and that you followed through with? GL in your choice.

Of course your making the right decision. You seemed to really work hard for this, and you deserve it. She's your friend, you dont owe her anything, you won fair and square and if she gets mad, than apparently the spelling bee is more important to her than your guys's friendship, which if you look at it, isnt a very good friend at all. Good Luck and congrats on winning the spelling bee. But remember, do it for you, no one else!

If the U.S. presidential election change into tomorrow, who ought to you vote for? no human being. I refuse to vote only for the sake of balloting. so some distance as i'm in touch all of them suck. the acceptable element the american human beings can do is to no longer vote for any of those losers. which will deliver a authentic message. Thumbs down? effective! shop balloting them in then. do not cry later how no longer something ever adjustments. "The definition of insanity is to do an identical element over and once extra and anticipate diverse outcomes.

you should do what you want to do and if this person is a true friend she would understand.so what I'm saying is do what you want to do not what she wants you to do.
