I love The Phantom of the Opera. The Overture just hits you as you hear it, makes you feel like a powerful Phantom is approaching...

That's a good one. I like Wicked too. I could listen to the sound track over and over. If you tell anyone this I'll deny it.

Moulin Rouge! I was surprised how much i liked it. I am also a fan of Nicole Kidman and I am amazed that she actually sang and danced all of her parts
I haven't seen many other musicals that I like but I also liked Phantom of the opera, and Hair.
I didn't like Rent as much as others seemed to and could not watch it to the end.

Carousel is a classic. The music is fantastic and the two stars are legendary singers Gordon McRae and Shirley Jones.
I also enjoy West Side Story's music. Leonard Bernstein is a legend!

Phantom, original Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Smoky Joe for nostalgic fun...Phantom is tops, tho.

High School Musical but if you aren't subjected to preteens blasting it in your house all day I agree Phantom is one of my favorites
