i think i have an addictive personality. i smoke cig (quit smoking pot 4 yrs ago) i drink every weekend, i almost got addicted to painkillers but made myself stop because i knew that would be destructive. i fall in love easily and become addicted to that happiness, i'll go days only eating one food (most recently chicken salad sandwiches). i've even been addicted to video games and websites (most recently, this site). other than drinking, smoking and love- these tend to be short-lived and are easily replaced by other addictions. i dont have insurance to cover a therapist nd cant afford one. but these addictions dont seem to disrupt my daily life and i continue to function normally (hold a steady job, no trouble with the law, stable relationships with friends and family) so should i be concerned about this? i also tend to worry a lot, this is the latest worry i've become fixated on

You are trying to fill some sort of void or you are a creature of habit. Sounds like a little bit of both. Just so you know it is very common to have cross addictions, which is jumping from one thing to another but ultimately it is to fill some void. find out what that is and work on it emotionally instead of all the outside things.

Smoking and drinking will catch up with you in the long run. Your diet doesn't seem so hot either. There are clinics that are either free or have minimal fees for people who can't afford them. If you have some religious affiliation, most clergy members have some experience in counseling and will know who to refer you to. Good luck.
