My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 6 months now. (I know I should not worry it can take more than that for some) But I went to the doctors the other day because I was feeling very uncomfortable (cramping, neasus etc.) My OBGYN seemed to be very worried and sent me over for a internal and external ultrasound. Now its just a waiting game. She said my cervix was very swallen and gave me medicine (that makes me sick to my stomach!) I go back on wednesday to go ever thing but until then I was just wondering if anyone else has been trhough this? If so, what in the world is going on??

Luckily it doesn't take long to get results from ultrasounds. Usually within a day or two at the absolute most. It may just be an infection.

One of your ovaries may be damaged. If you did, it just means you'd get it removed.

It still means that you can get pregnant. My friend had the same problem and she got her ovary removed. (she couldn't get pregnant for nearly a year and a half) Now she has been blessed with a beautiful son.

Try not to worry to much about it. It is serious, but the worst isn't always true.

The worst that can happen is that your entire uderus is damaged and it has to be removed. ( I pray that isn't the case) Then you couldn't get pregnant.

It might be because of stress tho, try to self-massage your ovaries. I would not trust doctors too much.
