Chopper implys custom, handmade frame .What motor and trani? what kind of condition is it in, both looks ans mechanically?Who built it? These are important details. Could be anywhere from $3000-7 or 8 . Probably best to take it by a custom bike shop, someone really has to look at it.

first you didnt say what size or modle the engine is, so it may not be the sporty everyone assumes on hear. next nada will give you a price for 73 harleys under the antique catagory, but its not stock, it depends on alot of things but average price hear in maine range from $5,000.00 -$10,000.00 depends on how nice it is, unless its a sporty then only from $2,000.00 to $4,000,00. good luck

I used to own a 73 hard tail raked sportster...prices vary on condition...of course. I would say, in good condition, no less than 5,000.00...that is GOOD condition...real good. You do realize that in 1973 Harley was owned by AMF...Sooo not as much value as the original HD. BUT! Still worth good money.

Harley NEVER made a sportster chopper. It is a custom or modified bike with an unknown value.

chopper doesn't mean anything.....except maybe to you.....go to your local Harley-Davidson dealer......ask them what it is worth....they know.....you may be disappointed.....stock vehicles are usually worth more.

its only worth what someone will pay, if its fantastic quality - then big dollars. most arent worth what the owners think they are worth.

All harleys are garbage before they bought the Japanese manufacturing methods; that is why they're liked. Put a high value on it and see if anyone wants an old toy.
