BUILD A BEAR!!!! They have one in almost every mall in KC, also Libby Lu is super fun!!! I would stay indoors as it is frigid cold outside right now. Maybe catch a movie and have dinner at Red Robin or some place fun like that. Oak Park Mall has both of those stores and Independence Center has those stores as well, and the movie theatre and Red Robin is close.

Take them to the Kansas City Ballet for a performance they'll never forget in mid February. It's a three part program. Pas de Dix by Balanchine features the music of Alexander Glazunov. These excerpts from Raymonda sparkle with Hungarian accents and are capped by Balanchine’s technical demands.
The KC premiere of José Limón’s masterpiece The Moor's Pavane is a sublime and human drama that captures the passion of Shakespeare’s Othello in a timeless portrayal of love, jealousy and betrayal. Set in the form of a Renaissance dance called the pavane, Limon distills the legend of Othello into a taut, one-act human drama. It finishes with the KC premiere of Great Galloping Gottschalk. Choreographed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett to the witty and uplifting music of Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Great Galloping Gottschalk is a rousing fun ballet about and for young people and highlights the technical virtuosity of the dancers.

Go to Libby Lu in Independence Center or like someone else said, Dave and Buster's in Kansas City, Kansas, is lots of fun. If you want to have a really fun sleepover, take her and her friends to Great Wolf Lodge. They have a great waterpark (indoors) and then the girls can spend the night in a really fun hotel room. The waterpark and arcade inside the Great Wolf Lodge stay open really late for the kids and they love it.

Power play, or somewhere you and your friends can hang out. Movies, Shopping, I took my daughter and her friends to the Rainforest Cafe then to the movies. This isn't in K.C. Missouri but Dave and Busters in K.C. KS. it's located in the village west shopping center (or the legends) off of I-435 and state ave. It's allot of fun, you can eat there then play tons of games.
