Here's a suggestion; try using Megabus instead of Greyhound. They serve Detroit with lower fares, nicer buses and travel to many area cities. They stop near grand circus park in downtown Detroit.

On Howard Street near the Lodge Freeway (right by the MGM Casino)....not a nice area....be careful Shorty!
