Does anyone have plans to make a spit?I have 2 pillar blocks,a 11/4''stainless rod & motor.need reductionplans

I need details on how to connect rod to reduction,where to get a gear reduction resonable,and anything else involved to slow everything down to about three or four rpm's.Thank you Al.
