mic is to quiet? mic boster program?

ok so i have some logitech internet chat/gaming headset and the mic is real quiet and hard to hear in online games haw can i make it louder? program? any ideas?
it also dosen't work in BF2

Adjust the volume settings.

Click START / All Programs / Accessories / Entertainment / Volume Control.

Mover the Microphone slider up - also click on the Advanced button to locate the 10db boost option.
