Who saw the movie the squid and the whale? I didn't like it.?

I thought i would really like it but i didn't? what were your thoughts on it?

I thought it was fantastic. However, my husband thought it was boring and didn't have a point. I think I really liked it because I came from a pretty dysfunctional family with divorce, and blah blah blah. He just couldn't relate to anything in the movie since most of his childhood was so happy and his parents are still together.

It's a tough view. It's like "hey everyone, see this dysfunctional family? aren't they a mess? okay, goodnight, everyone!"
