Not pregnant, but want children in the near future. Just looking for ideas for when the time comes...

I like Biblical names...

For boys I like:
Malachi
Isaiah
Jacob
Josiah
Jonah
Samuel

For girls I like:
Abigail
Eve
Hannah
Rebekah
Lydia

Also like Lillian for a girl. (its not from the Bible)

Which names do you like best of these... and what middle name would you put with them? I think out of these my favorites are Malachi and Josiah for a boy and Lydia and Lillian for a girl.

Our last name starts with a D and has two syllables.

Thanks!

Malachi, Isaiah, Jacob, and Samuel are all good names for boys.
Abigail, Eve, Hannah, Rebekah, and Lydia are all good names for girls. Josiah and Jonah aren't really awesome names for a child. I think of Jonah the whale defying God and God made him get swallowed by a whale to get him to listen. Josiah no one knows how to say or spell that. On personal experience Rebekah is a VERY common name and has so MANY spellings I would never name my child. I do like all the other girl names. Rebekah Lillian or Abagail Lillian would work after all that's exactly what my mom named me. How about Hannah Elizabeth, Hannah Grace, or Samantha Eve?

I like Jacob and Samuel for a boy...you can combine the names (Jacob Samuel) for the middle name and as for the girl names, I love Lydia and Lillian. You can do Lydia Eve, for Lillian Eve for the middle names...I don't know. Just something that sounds nice. I always prefer a simple middle name.

Malachi- This name, for some reason, screams evil to me. I think maybe Children of the Corn and Save the Last Dance ruined it for me. However, Malachi Angel might make it sweeter:)
Isaiah- I love this name.
Jacob-Love it!
Josiah-I think this sounds really old-fashioned.
Jonah- I don't really love it...
Samuel- I like this name, though you still find a loooooottt of Sams.

Middle names for boys: Joe, James, Lee, Dean, Steele, Bear, Miller, West, Scott, Jerimiah, Ezekial, Zeb(idiah), Paul, Matthew, Peter...

For girls:
Abigail- cute
Eve- Like it!
Hannah- Hannah Jo...cute
Rebekah- Love that spelling...but you have to like Becca or Becky...bound to happen...
Lydia- Okay

Lillian is gorgeous

Middle names for girls- Lynn, Ann, Lee, Jo, Marie, Sue, Amore, Love, Kay, Eden, Grace, Faith, Emery, Rose

I'd stay away from Malachi if I were you. Perhaps for a middle name though, but it doesn't go very well with Josiah. The names you like for the girls are lovely.
