Please give me specific directions because i am a HUGE beginner at making websites. Thank you!

Well, if you have cable modem - the provider usually gives you free space. You'll have to follow those instructions.

Typically, you need two things to upload a site....
A domain name (******.com) You register this so no one can use it. AND
a Hosting company (or person) He usually will keep your site going and show it for a nominal fee - I think I've paid $25 for 2 years)..

Anyway - your best bet is through your provider. There is also FREE YELLOW, I believe but not sure if you have to use their software or not.

You have to have a domain name (.com) and you can't get free ones.
If you have a friend who has a domain name and would be willing to host your site you might be able to do it for free that way.
