I am used to live in condos made of bricks, isn't a wooden house strong enough. The house is based in Saginaw Michigan.

no just make sure you keep tabs on the structure over time.. the ususal.. pests.. mold... deterioration of the wood... always keep a routine of making sure you don't get termites and treat the wood when nessesary and try to keep the wood dry and free of sitting water... water that is laying in one place.. it'll make the wood warp.

nothing than the unusual with any stucture but you want that wood to look good as well as be strong.

professionals over time can do the trick and pest control.

:D

Saginaw is a very pretty area. What do you think would be too strong for a wooden house? I can't think of anything in your area except a direct hit by a tornado or perhaps an earthquake. Either one would damage a brick building too. A wooden house is very strong.

millions of people if not billions of people live in houses made of wood. Especially living in Michigan you shouldn't worry at all. Maybe if you lived in tornado or hurricane country it might be some thing to think about.

The only things you'll probably have to worry about is open flame and heating costs.
