I think so with what he's achieved with little resources, they are beating the mediocre teams and drawing with some of the top teams. He would be a better manager for England than Maclaren in my view

Harry Redknapp for me - totally transformed Pompey from certain relegation to challengers for Europe in the space of a year.

Yep, he's done a great job, he hasn't got the best talent in the country, but I think he's getting the most out of the players he has. His tactics have been spot on.

And no offence, but even Gareth Southgate would make a better manager for England !

Laudrup did solid enterprise, yet he did not exchange very lots. Villas-Boas has in basic terms carried out ok IMO for the gang he has, with out Bale they wouldnt be the place they're. Steve Clarke IMO. Their league place is the final for their squad.

Rubbish mate. It's gotta be Jose innit? After all the injuries, rumours, gossip in-fighting & histrionics he's kept the Chelsea juggernaut rolling. We're just 3 points behind. It's game on!!

u r right. best manager this season. much more of an achievment to take reading that far up the table than it is for jose to struggle for 1st with all that cash! schevchenko makes Sidwell look player of the year

hes done a top job there but even if reading done the treble he wouldnt get the glory. we were the same last season with paul jewell at wigan. if youre not one of the "fashionable "teams theres nothing down for you.

I wouldn't even say so far, I say give him the award now.

No one at all comes close. Look at the Reading teams budget compared to the rest of the premiership.

People shouldn't mention Harry Redknapp, he has to spend big to come mid table.

I agree. I support Reading and i think he has done a great job. It is down to him that we are in the premiership. I hope he stays at Reading though.
