My friend made a point to eat really healthy during her pregnancy. Oatmeal with fruit, soups, lots of lean protein like fish and chicken, vegetables. She had 5-6 small meals throughout the day, about 300 calories each. She also took all the vitamin supplements recommended by her doctor. She maintained healthy weight and her baby turned out perfect! She actually weighed less after having her daughter than before she got pregnant. Best of all, eating like this took care of her cravings and nausea!
Congratulations and keep your head up!

101???? You sound anorexic. You can't get slim now, it is too late. Your baby need nourishment especially now when he/she is developing. Poor nutrition can put your baby at risk for developmental problems as well as physical problems. If you stay away from the sugar and bad fats, you may be able to keep the weight down, but you still need to gain a certain amount of weight for a healthy pregnancy. Unless you are under 5 feet tall, you should be able to gain 25-30 pounds without being fat.

any weight that you do put on during pregnancy will drop off straight away when you have a new baby to look after. but if you are worried about putting on too much weight you should try to stay away from sweet things and snack on lots of fruit and veggies whenever you do get hungry. this will be great for the baby too

gaining weight is a part of a healthy pregnancy. Taking walks shouldnt do too much harm, but hunny, ur going to gain weight! Just let the little grow and be healthy. Worry about weight loss aftfer baby is born.

Stop being so vain, think about your baby and just enjoy it. You never get the chance to just be who you are any other time, and there's plenty of time to lose all the weight afterwards.

If you still want to lose weight - try eating less? It's the only thing that really works.

you need to think of the baby now, not your weight, you need to gain 30 pounds to have a healthy baby. if you gain more, it's not good, but if you gain very little, then the baby isn't getting the nutrition it needs. eat healthy, walk, and take care of yourself. be a happy mom-to-be, and everything will be fine. take your pre-natal vitamins as well. good luck. it takes 9 mths to put the weight on, so don't starve yourself after delivery. you need your energy.
