Only one was not charged with a hate crime, a 16 year old. The violence against these white women was stopped when a black man stopped his car and shielded the women with his own body after pulling the black youths off the women. The black youths were using pumpkins, lemons and skateboards to hit the white women with. The sentence they got was too lenient in my judgment, they should have done time instead of probation. Hate is hate either way, either color. Also another point? What were all the white people doing while these women were being beat up? Did any white person come to their defense? No,

I'm not sure your question is based on facts world-wide.
Why does any person get away with any crime?
Many criminals get off, when they should be jailed or punished.
There are mass murderers out there, free
and many of them are white and asian....not all black.
The justice systems are scared.
A few good men and true are really hard to find to judge a case fairly.
Witnesses won't come forward fearing retribution from criminals and their families.
Let's work on fixing the legal systems...
then maybe no one will have to ask questions like this one again.

Because "hate crime" legislation was passed to specifically keep the White heterosexual male population in America under control. The government fears this group above all others...

What motivates people to hate due to a colour? I dislike a person by their actions, not the colour of their skin. I have come across good and bad in all cultures.

I'm not sure how true that is... but possibly because they are usually black-on-black and society just doesn't deem this phenomena important enough to care about. If someone commits a crime, they should be held accountable no matter what their color, race, creed, etc.

dam good question.
I guess for blacks, it's only considered a hate crime when the crime is committed AGAINST blacks by someone of another nationality. but not vise versa.
