I'm only asking because I figure there might be a market there. I know they don't eat pork, so not much potential there. But I figure if they like pink meat, the possum is the future. Shoot, possums breed like bunnies and don't move too fast. I'm thinking that since there are so many Muslims around, I could start a pretty good sized ranch without too much cost or work and have a good customer base.

I would stick with your snail farm. Opposum eating Muslims are a rare breed. Raising opposums has its hang-ups. I hope everything goes well with your wife during her surgery. She should be in good hands. Heart surgery has become so common that it is almost routine. Take care of the both of you. I always enjoy reading your questions and answers. Stay on Yahoo's good side so you don't get suspended again. Keep coming up with creative ways to make money. However, I am afraid that your last idea is the opposumable dream. Business is bound to tail off. The last time I saw fresh opposum on the menu was at the Road Kill Cafe, along with the house speciality; rack of raccoon.

Why not try armadillo? Here in Texas it's known as "possum on the half shell". You'd probably hve a better chance of selling 'possum in the eastern U. S. mountains. Those ole hillbillies love it. Nice and greasy in the stew pot along with racoon and squirrel.

If you are focusing your bussiness plans around muslims why dont you start a car bomb factory? i think there is much more of a profit margin in that field, and they love their car bombs
