Some kids (not on here) don't know how to deal with problems, even small ones. One little thing happens and they just have a temper tantrum!

Yes I agree, but it is not only kids but young adults too, it seems to be a symptom of the `ME` society, you know, the what about me mentality,it is epidemic in our times, and tears and tantrums are not going to cure it.

Plenty of kids do not know how to deal with problems(even on here).Tantrums are usually a sign that the kid is overwhelmed by something and does not know how to express themselves verbally.Everyone matures at a different pace, and some have better coping skills than others.

Kids do what seems to work. If throwing a tantrum gets them a result that looks good to them they will do it again, and again. They ARE solving their problem!

Well... they are kids after all... it's up to their parents, teachers, and other mentors to show them how to deal with problems and make sure that they cultivate patience.
