I have a couple different snakes, they like somewhere to hide and my snakes like trees to climb and branches and stuff and places to bask. Some snakes can be kept together with others but most of the time they won't interact if anything they will fight so I don't do it and it doesn't seem to make the snake feel more comfortable.

While some snakes can sometimes be sexed using anal spurs or tail shape/length, the only way to accurately determine the sex of your snake is to have an experienced reptile vet probe the snake. If you try to do this or let someone who is unqualified do this, you will likely injure the snake, possibly killing it if it goes into too much pain and shock. If your snake is young, that is why it wasn't sexed. Most snake breeders will not sex a snake before a certain age/weight/maturity so that they do not hurt the young snake.
As to loneliness of a snake, snakes are solitary creatures and tend to be lethargic. NEVER put two snakes together unless they are breeding. Cannibalism has been known to occur. As to what to put in your snake's tank, it depends on the snake. Arboreal snakes will enjoy logs or tree branches. Some snakes may want thick bedding to burrow into. Some (like ball pythons) want to have very small enclosures to make them feel secure. They would dislike the open-ended half-logs, because they like for the enclosure to be all around them. The below website has caresheets on various types of caresheets. Look to them to determine what your snake would want in his enclosure. Good luck.

Hey there, The best way to tell if Mr.Timmy is a girl or a boy is to go to a vet and have him/her probed. Otherwise take a look at the tail. Does it go narrow very quicky (female) or gradually narrow down towards the tip (male). My pueblan milk snakes love to hide in plants, under their water dish and in their cave. Maybe something to climb on...a branch or a plant. Snakes are solitary creatures, but make sure to handle Mr.Timmy regularly to keep him friendly. good luck

I keep different logs, rocks, etc. so I can change my snakes tanks out periodically. They like those half logs, or even a kleenex box to snuggle up in-they aren't picky. Make sure they have a warm end of the tank and a cooler end, a nice log or platform under their light to bask on, and a water tank big enough for them to soak in.

I used to really want a red albino corn snake. They like rocks or logs to hide round or under - like a cave or something. (But make sure it doesn't fall on them). You should probably have asked when you got it if it was male or female.
