A great game from my childhood was called GREEN GHOST, it was played like a reverse hide and seek..every night as soon as the sun had set enough for it be be semi dark..we all rounded up in my neighborhood, and played. The person who was it..hid...we all couted to 50, and then broke to look for the person, when he or she was spotted we yelled GREEN GHOST..and that persons job was to get to the base before being caught. If he or she was caught then the person who tagged them got to be it..It was a lot of fun, even our parents joined in scarying us sometimes...or helping IT get into a really good spot.
After a few rounds of that we too wiped out to care about going to bed...
