Download Steam - A program to talk to friends,install games like halflife,download media,tools,join servers,etc
When you downloaded steam and installed it click on the "Activate product on Steam" button and enter the halflife cdkey( THAT is if you even bought halflife anthology product, if you didnt even buy halflife theres no way to play it online )

Download 1 at a time, dont be doing anything on the computer while they are downloading, and also check settings on the steam account and put the according connection time for best download speeds. in the end, it doesnt matter what kinda computer you have, its where you get your internet from.
