toshiba satellite infrared port?

I have a Toshiba Satellite P25-S5092 running Windows XP SP2. When I try to connect my Nokia 6800 phone via infrared, nothing happens. Infrared is enabled in BIOS & Hardware Devices. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Ok, this is a bit sketchy, but you need to setup a network connection via the IRDa port. I think from memory you go to network & Dialup connections > make new connection > Connect directly to another computer > host or guest depending what you want to do > choose the device (IRDa) then follow the rest of the prompts, and you should find you can connect.
