Something that you wouldn't usually do. Perhaps something out of the ordinary. Best answer goes to the person who makes me go 'aww' the most.

I damaged a disc in my spine last weekend and this has been the first day I've not been in quite so much pain- I've only screamed a couple of times, and I was able to begin the exercises I was given and go for a tiny tiny walk in the sunshine. I'm beginning to get straighter as the pain was making my body all twisted, so I am very excited that I'm not permanantly damaged and can begin to see the end. And also have had my mind opened significantly to how tough the ordinary things can be for people- it takes a whole lot of will power, strategic thinking and around 5 mins just to get out of bed, I can't put on my knickers, trousers or socks by myself and have had to sit in a chair and watch my fiance clean the house from top to bottom, I ccan't imagine what it must be like for people who face this struggle every day, and am so glad that I will be getting better- with some hard work and physio, over the next month or so

If I can answer this for yesterday. I delivered the newsletter for the residential home I work at - I'm a carer and also newsletter editor. A few of my ladies were delighted to see me so excited at a bit of Chinese writing I'd done in it ... Actually, the best one was last month's when they were delighted to see themselves at their Christmas party but the one page that got everyone was one lady's hundredth Christmas; she had a page to herself, with photos and all.

A friend & I went to yard sales to find a bed for her, we went to about three and then there it was. A black daybed w/matress for $20.00 plus an antique table & some accessories. Now for the cleaning. We're truly thankful to God.

Did a bit of gardening, had a nice walk in the sunshine.

Watched England win at Rugby (now that is unusual). Best of all it was against the Jocks.

I found a good home for 2 cats that I have been fostering for a cat charity. They have been with me since early Nov. & I was beginning to think that I would never find a home for them. I am delighted that they can look forward to a happy future.
