Backstage passes are usually only and industry perk. They go to radio DJ's, record execs, advertisers at the venue and people who are somehow economically associated with the band or record label.
You probably won't get the sh** kicked out of you but be careful trying to get to the front of the crowd becuase sometimes it gets so packed that if you fall down you could be trampled.

You'll have to negotiate the pit to get to the front. Thats the only way. As far as backstage passes, you can't buy them. Mostly they're given to hot lookin babes. Guys have almost no chance. Your best bet is to try to buddy up to someone in security, slip them 50 bucks and you might, might get backstage. I've been going to concerts since 1970, so I've got tons of experience.

Usually to get backstage passes you have to win them over a radio station. I've been to a fall out boy concert and it was frickin awesome!!!!! You will get the crap kicked out of you if you try to get to the front. FYI if there is someone larger than you, trying to get to the front, go around before you end up with swollen ankles.

If you have big cans you might be able to score some.
I always try to stay toward the edge. That way you are less likely to get crushed by people. Being in the front is worth it, but once again the whole being crushed thing comes into play. Don't wear anything that you wouldn't mind throwing out afterwards.

the only way you would get beat up is if you were in a mosh pit. you cant get backstage just like that, and you cant buy them either. maybe if MCR had a club or something they would probably give them away.

umm....at a ****** lamb of god concert im guessing its totally different from a my chemical romance show never been to dat type of show....im a chick who dont mind pushing my way to the front but its harsh u have to be strong to prevent the ppl behind u from pushin u into the chained fence. the mosh pit is the worst place to be cuz my youll come out with either a bloody nose or your shirt torn...but its well worth it. Being on the outside of the crowd is where my friend says is the safe zone...lol..anyway ya.
concerts ive been to: danzig, ozzfest 01, slipknot, lamb of god, behemoth, foo fighters, stone temple pilots, queens of the stone age, korn, static x, soulfly, fuel, saliva, megadeth, fear factory, dream theatre, dry kill logic, marliyn manson, drowning pool, damage plan, kittie, otep, black label society, system of a down, down, hatebreed....just to name a few.

approximately an hour before doorways open in a well-known Admission stay overall performance is a secure time in case you decide on a solid seat, like the floor or front row......if that's a 'common' artist or band, an hour and a 0.5 might desire to be solid, too.
