Most British people find the reporting on American networks very biased. Compared to the BBC, these companies seem not to check their sources, often report government beliefs. And when they get something wrong, they never admit that they have.
The British like their facts straight.

You have asked 6 questions. Are you doing a survey? there was a time when BBC was the best in the world. CNN came up during the Gulf war with their on the spot reporting technique. But of late CNN is becoming slightly boring because of the repetitive nature. The other channels are not at par with these two. Some of the reporting are good and some are not liked. People like to see reporting in a factual and interesting manner. Sometimes the anchors add spice to it. The viewers can easily understand the same. When it is more frequent that anchor is ignored and so is the reporting by him. Additionally, the anchors who are liked "change camp" too. So it is a difficult scenario now.

I watch Fox, CNN and sometimes MSNBC. The daytime news on those channels are far less biased than the evening coverage. MSNBC is the most biased in the evening. CNN is the least biased most of the time but it does lean to the left. Fox is the only cable news source for the conservative veiwpoint. So if you get your news from TV and don't include Fox then you aren';t getting the whole story.

Occasionally BBC News goes over to an american 'summary of the day' which I *think* is either CNN or ABC... it's about half an hour very late at night. That's the only time I watch it and in my opinion it's very biased towards the government. But hey, that happens here too I suppose!

As far as I'm aware CNN international is the only station even close to being taken seriously in the UK. To be honest, we respect our own channels much more than the US ones. Having been stuck on holiday with CNN and FOX as my only sources of current affairs, I'm really dissapointed with both of them for providing impartial news. FOX is shamefully biased, and CNN is just so blinkered that you really can't blame Middle America for being so uninformed about the rest of the world. But hey, you guys control 50% of the planet's population through politics, and the other 50% by force, so you can afford to be a little blockheaded.

I love Fox, it's fun with the turning clock. CNN is the station I turn to when I want to see serious American news. We can get them on SKY. The BBC is still the world-leader though.

I've seen CNN. Not actually that keen on 24 hour news, as there is never enough to fill it.
I prefer the BBC.

Yes b/c of our (US) war on Iraqi civilians..... I mean 'terrorism'! Its actually making history because its the most televised war ever. They can't hide as much of the truth, like in Vietnam......... And satellites make anything possible!
