You can't solve it beacause there is no equal sign and nothing on the other side. To solve it meanss to find a value of x that would work in the equation.
For example if you had
19 - 3x + 7x -1 = 22 you'd combine like terms and get
18+4x = 22 and then you could subtract 18 from each side and find out that x = 1

19-3x+7x-1.

start with combing the x variables.

-3x+7x=4x

now your equation is 19+4x-1 (the '+' came in because the "-" wat actually a -3x so it's kind of like the '-' is gone which leaves yo u with "+")

now combine the nameless tiles (aka ones w/o variables)

19+-1 or 19-1 (it means the same thing)

this equals 18. so your new equation is 18+4x

Tipically, you wil lsee the variables first so your simplified equation turns out to be..
