its not the end of the world myspace being down........try to live on ^_^

Do not panic.
Depending on your geographical location you may be affected by on going updates to a Myspace server. The server went down Yesterday (about 24 hours ago) and has not been fixed yet.
Can I just ask didn't you realise that this question has been asked around 100 times today?
Just wait a fews hours for the problem to be fixed or log on tomorrow.

i've been having this problem too, the error message i get is this:
'Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.'
so i tried my Seamonkey browser instead (i don't have IE explorer, i'm running Ubuntu Linux as an OS)
Seamonkey says:
'Redirect Loop
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.
* Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.'
i've heard that myspace is suffering some virulent hacking right now. i cleared out my cache and cookies, but to no avail.
i am only able to login by using a web proxy:
http://unipeak.com/
from that address i enter into the box provided:
http://myspace.com
and click go!
then i'm able to login to my myspace account and see that it's been slaughtered. i'm unable to post a blog or change my password at this time, but i AM in, and i can post text to my front page.
so, try the unipeak web proxy and if you get in at all, try to change your password to something really solid.

I'm not sure what's going on. For the past two days every time I try to log on it says page cannot be displayed? Are they doing some work on myspace and that's why it's down? It's frustrating.

I am having the this problem. It could be for certain servers. I have Mozilla FireFox and Internet Explorer. I tried to log on to myspace for both of them. And they both did not correspond. If you do get to log in may you contact me and tell me exactly how? Because I deleted all of my cookies, and put my settings on low, and it still continues to not work. By any chance dear does it say this:

i've been having a problem getting myspace for two days now..
i was starting to get worried but now that I see other people having problems, i guess that it'll be over in a few days..
I tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer
I tried moving my cache files to another folder, resetting my system and deleting cookies but nothing worked.

Dont think that it is down but no I have not been able to log in for 2 days. When I put my username and password in, it thinks for a minute and then tells me that the page cannot be displayed. I have deleted cookies and all that jazz and still cannot get on. Have no idea. Some people can get on others cannot.

YES - MYSPACE IS DOWN FOR CERTAIN USERS! Wait it out and it'll eventually be fixed.

I cant log in to myspace ether!!! but i might just b a problem whit myspace,but wat weird is i told my friend to log me in from there computer and they couldent sooo I'm just waiting
