Rough conversions
A litre is the volume of a cube with sides of 10 cm
So a gallon is 3.786 liter = 3.786 * 1000 cubic cm.
Then a quart = one-fourth of a gallon =
3.786 * 250 cubic cm = 946.5 cubic cm
So the side is the cube root of 946.5,
that is a tad larger than 9.8 cm on a side.

Yes it is true, 1 quart = 1/4 gallon thus 3.786/4 litres=0.9465litres
0.9465litres = 946.5 cubic centimeters
thus take the cube root of 946.5 and voila 9,818 cm is the size of your ice cream cube.
However to actually build this cube you would have to scoop the icecream out of the bucket and then shape in on a table or such without eating any of the yummy icecream, which is clearly impossible so it is a trick question: CAN't BE DONE
