You're thinking on the human perspective side. How do you know that nothing can't create something. The only reason why I argue with evolution is because they say it is science. When we never see nothing create something. But it works perfectly for Christianity because we shall admit that our beliefs are purely based on faith. Not science. But what is science but the process thought up by humans to determine how the universe works. it is kind of like saying if the earth was created by the Big Bang then there would be an infinite amount of time before any event occured. or if God created us you're saying what was he doing before he made us. this is an unspoken assumption that there was time before creation

Well to start, the Universe was not created by the big bang theory. We were created in the image of God, we have Heavenly Parents, and there are worlds without number.

We have an incomplete concept of time that leaves us wondering about infinity, just as an ancient concept of gravity left us wondering what held the moon, stars and sun in place.

That question kind of implies that there was no creation event, rather an infinite universe or series of universes.
