We can't connect to MySpace for the last 12 hours..any news on why?

I was just logged on, and I didn't have any problems with anything...

Myspace is not down. I work in IT support and many people are having problems with getting to the site. I have been able to get them back to it. I have not yet narrowed down exactly which step fixed the problem, but if you follow these steps I am confident you will get back on:
1 Go into internet explorer
2 Click the Tools menu or button then Internet Options
3 IE6: click delete files then OK, then delete cookies then OK
IE7: click delete.... then click delete files... and delete
cookies... click close
4 Click the advanced tab
5 IE6: click restore defaults
IE7: click restore advanced settings
6 Click the privacy tab, lower settings to Low
7 Click the Security tab, click custom level: change reset to to Medium-low (IE7 medium), then hit okay
8 Click OK, close internet explorer, open it back up, it should be working

As I answered to someone else earlier today, I have been on Myspace all day and there have been no problems, logging in or with anything else.
Maybe something is wrong with your computer.
Try running a virus scan and run a disk cleanup.

Seems to be working fine for me at the moment. I've had it randomly act up on me before. Run your disk cleanup, disk defragmenter, and virus scan. If after all of it myspace still doesn't come back up for you, then it could be myspace.

Attention Yahoo Answers Staff:Can you PLEASE let these folks know what's going on with MySpace? Can you make a permanent entry on the board that MySpace is in a legal "battle" with Viacom Inc.,and is undergoing some MAJOR changes?

its down for a lot of us dont know when its gonna be back up though as its been down for almost 24 hours for me yet my friends in america can log in so I guess its more our end

I don't know why. It's doing the same thing to me. I can view pages and other things but login is impossible.

yeaaah its not working for me either and im in florida.
heres the weird part, my roomates worked but then i went on her computer and tried to log onto my page and it didnt work and now her computer wont even log onto myspace.com anymore without an 'internet explorer can not display the webpage' message.
soo idk whats up, but im having withdrawls =/ lol.
