I think it means that we sometimes expect to be perfectly in love with someone forever. When you first meet and fall in love, you just think it will always be so lovely, and that if it isn't, it isn't really love. Even people who are deeply in love cannot stay in bed all day, gazing into one another's eyes. You have to work, struggle, cook, clean, raise a family, go to funerals, have illnesses and accidents. While all of that "life" is going on, you can still be in love with that person you married, but you are not always going to be gazing lovingly into one another's eyes.

It's about the realities of life. But the good moments more than make up for the struggles, and the exciting times more than make up for days of routine events.

It means that a relationship is not going to be perfect but you look past the imperfections for love.
Basically--there will be imperfections in a relationship but you will know that it's love when you can overlook all of them, and be perfectly happy with the person.

The only way to be happy is to have realistic expectations. Take the bad with the good. No person is perfect and no relationship is perfect, and that's ok. Expect to have bad times as well as good. Your brother is a wise man! :)

That love has it ups and downs. Sometimes you may fight, other times you love each other to death. Love is a funny thing, but in th end you know that you made the right choice. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Love is not perfect.

How can love be perfect if neither person is perfect? Love is made better and stronger with time and work and dedication and commitment however... Love is what you make of it. The only Perfect Love is God's love.

Too me it means that with Love as well as in life one must be willing to grow and that means not as two but one. You see each and every person male or female has thier own quirks or misgivings about life. We learn from our parents, loved ones, and friends and they learn from who influences them. So you see we get a very twisted insight on love. Only one is perfect and that one is God. When someone say's "they are a perfectionest this means watch out.

I think it means that you should be realistic with what you expect from love! Love is not meant to be perfect... love is a feeling, a action... and not soemthing that you can make sure is perfect!!! with Love there is ALWAYS ROOM FOR improvement, and imperfections!!!

Loving someone and living with them will never be perfect because people are not perfect. It will be good though.

I think he meant that he may be having some problems with his wife, but's to be expected because there are always ups and downs for people in love.

it's perfectly reasonable and respectable to want to wait more than a month before having sex. chances are she wants to make sure she genuinely, definitely means it before she tells you she loves you. don't rush it, i can tell you want it to come from the heart when she does. also, she probably doesn't want to have sex until she is sure she loves you, which will make her, and hopefully you, treasure it even more when it does happen. good luck, i'm sure it will all work out. you sound like a great guy.
