What will happen ? How will my arm be restrained ?
Can Mum be in room with me ? Soooo scared of needles.

Hello - Every 1 gets this done so it's no big deal. People r good @ what they do & don't do things just 2 inflict pain! U will b there a few minutes if U arrive on time. The needle is not going 2 hurt much - just a pinch. There is no gigantic needle. They aren't going 2 take all your blood! If they strap Ur arm down it's just so there is no problem if U move. So don't move and Breathe, don't hold breath!

Don't worry - it won't be as bad as you think.
They look for a suitable vein and then put an elastic belt round the top of your arm to get it to stand out more. Then you can close your eyes and squeeze your mum's hand and it only hurts a tiny bit!
If you let them know you're worried they can use some anaesthetic cream and they'll keep the needle away until the last minute so you don't get panicky.

theyre probably just going to hold your arm down and poke you with a needle. Dont worry, it wont hurt. Im scared of needles too, but i got through a blood test. And yes, your mom can be in the room, you can even have her hold your hand.

just hold your mom's hand. then close your eyes and try to imagane being somewere else. It will be over very quickly...
I dont know about u but i always imagine the needles as being huge so i ask to see it 1st.....but 4 som ppl it makes it worse

Try to relax.. being tensed up can make it hurt more. Try to think of somewhere fun or a vacation spot. Place yourself somewhere else at that time, and you should not feel it hardly at all. It will be over before you know it. Good luck.

i had one a couple of years ago and it wasn't that bad considering that I'm terrified of shots lol but its fast and doesn't hurt much.God bless you:)
