why battlefied 1942 multiplayer doesn't work?

when i start my game, i go to the internet i click on join.
its start loading the map and suddenly it goes back to my windows screen. i wonder what i wrong with it.

Did you check windows firewall/personal firewall? I had this problem with one of my games...

you might have the game blocked by like a firewall or something. or just because gamespy sucks
