That's mean... I'm sorry...
But you really do need to see things from their perspective. It really does suck out loud to have lived an entire life only to become reduced back into a state of adult infancy. All your friends are gone, you hurt and ache and wear diapers, can't eat what you like, you get confused and can't do things as well as you used to.
The older generations were taught to be strong and independant. To need someone and depend on others is a sucky way to end a long life!
I would say from that... The best way to make them happy... Is to allow them to have jobs and duties, responsabilites and make sure they feel needed. That is what makes people want to live. Being productive and needed... not just tended to and tolerated.

tell that person that god is waiting for them, but hes not ready for them just yet. If the person is in pain, or suffering i know that it can be hard, especially to watch and not be able to so anything about it. Let them know that they are loved, and that soon enough they will be out of the pain, and in a better place.

I believe that we are all here on earth for a reason. We all have a job to do. Most of us will never know what that job is, however we will know when it is done. When it is done we will be called home. Sometimes just the fact that we exist or that someone thinks of us at any given time is enough to complete our task.

You tell them if god wanted them dead then he would have taken away his life a long time ago but clearly god wants this person to do something or fulfil something before he/she dies, if god feels this person has done enough and is ready to leave then god will let this person die.

You don't TELL that person anything. You listen to them, ask questions, and try to understand their reasons for feeling as they do. That's called compassion.
Besides, who are you or anyone else to know what "god" wants?

You should tell them that when it is their time to leave the good lord will let them. Tell that person that God wants them to accomplish more down here and then he will you can leave.

I believe people are connected to eachother for a reason, whether big or small. God has him/her in his plans for something great still. Its not time yet!

Don't push to die yet. You love them with all your heart and don't think about it yet.
