Bad, I watched a horror movie with my family because I didn't know any better when I was younger and I couldn't sleep for a week without the lights on. I still hate scary movies.

That really depends on whether the kid(s) has bad parents or not.

Responsible parents can let their kids watch any kind of movie or TV show and NOT worry that their kid is gonna set the house on fire with them in it.

Bad parents set no boundaries or guidelines, so kids run wild and get into all kinds of trouble. Example: watch MTV's Sweet 16. Those are some REALLY horribly, spoiled-rotten kids.

depends on the movie and depends on the ages. some children can handle the scariness of the movie. it also depends what kind of scary. if its gorey scary then its definitely not a good idea. if its classic scary, like Dracula, then im sure its fine. if its funny scary, then it depends on the movie.

just to be safe, put the kids in a close room and put some children's movie on.

i say generally bad, but some kids are really tough and it doesn't bother them at all. a lot of kids are totally desensitized to stuff like that, but that is not necessarily ok. is that ok with you? i mean, you don't want the kid to be soft, but you don't want them to be heartless, either.

Really it depends on the kid. Some have deeper sensibilities than others. You have to know whether they can handle it or not.
