Okay..
there are alot of questions u need to answer.
When did this lump first appear?
did it change in size?
is it red? painful?
is there any discharge from ur ear?
is there any fever?
etc.. etc.. etc
the possibilities are:
1. you have an infection going on (probably the piercing) and this is one of ur lymphnodes reacting to the infection.
2. it could be some inflammation in the mastoid process (the bone right behind ur ear)
3. it could be a lipoma.
in cases one and two.. it could be very serious and u really need to see a doctor. while in case 3 it is not that serious and u might want to remove it only for cosmotic reasons..
but i really don't know about this peanut oil.. i don't see how can it help u!

What is the peanut oil going to do for a lump on your ear? I must have missed something in this post. If it is a cyst or keliod then just leave it alone and if it is a pimple then use warm compresses but don't pop it. Peanut oil is ok to put on your skin but serves no purpose.

Actually, i see it all the time. Im a therapist and use Hopi ear candles. When you open the candle at the end of the treatment you'd be amazed at how much comes out sometimes. Some clients don't wish to see. But others have a morbid fascination by what they produce. A lot more than 1cm i can tell you.

Peanut oil does nothing.
Some keloids stop growing, or even disappear, for not apparent reason. If you want one treated for cosmetic reasons, consult your physician, who will probably inject a steroid medication into it. This sometimes makes it smaller. A keloid cannot simply be cut out. This would leave a scar that might turn into another keloid. Removing a keloid and treating the new scar with new injection, x rays, or both may result in only a small scar.
Keloids are harmless but they can itch and they sometimes cause deformity. They are common in people with black skin, but rare in those with light skin.

Why don't you try some anti-inflamatories like hydrocortisone or taking some Motrin or Advil if you are not allergic? Rubbing alcohol may even dry it out some....but peanut oil sister? Never heard of using that! I have been in the medical field for years! Good luck! If it doesn't go down or you are having severe pain with it seek professional help ASAP! If it was an allergic reaction to something try some benadryl pills!
