I think that we are having an impact on the environment without a doubt! I hope that we can get the alternative energy programs going and put the issues of global warming and gas prices behind us. I don't think that global warming is a left vs. right issue. We all have to live on this planet! I think we should take care of it like it is part of us! If you destroy your environment you destroy the entire human race. I'm not talking about CO2 emissions alone. I'm talking about contaminants being dumped into creeks and things like that as well. I live in a state in which every lake and stream is polluted. And as a person who loves animals and the outdoors, I find it to be sad.

Even Pat Robertson said that global warming is real!!! I have noticed that alot of Christians want to downplay the thought of it. But one of the prophecies in the Book of revelation actually makes it clear that our planet will be destroyed be fire!

Well, Al Gore is not a scientists! I don't really listen to what he says about global warming. But there are people out there who know whats going on and I think we should listen to them! You can't believe everything that politicians say. But science does not lie(At least not on earth).

“Another Ice Age?”

"As they review the bizarre and unpredictable weather pattern of the past several years, a growing number of scientists are beginning to suspect that many seemingly contradictory meteorological fluctuations are actually part of a global climatic upheaval. However widely the weather varies from place to place and time to time, when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing. Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age."
Time Magazine, July 24, 1974.
One basis for those 1974 findings…It was warmer in the 1930s across the globe than in the mid ‘70’s…Honorable mention, it was warmer globally then, than even now!

In 1996 the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a chart showing climatic change over a period of 1000 years. This graph showed a Medieval warming period in which global temperatures were higher than they are today. In 2001 the IPCC issued another 1000 year graph in which the Medieval warming period was missing. So was the spike of the 1930’s!
There are so many more points that will either not be presented, by intentional omission,
so as to sustain the foregone conclusions of Grant driven scientists with Socialist agendas.
Remember the line in the original Ghostbusters movie…I need this college grant job; the private sector expects legitimate results!

As far as being good stewards, you are correct that it shouldn't be a right vs. left issue, unfortunately, to quote Al Gore, "he played on our fears!". Sure, he was referring to President Bush on the War in Iraq, but it truly applies to leftists such as Al Gore over Global Warming.

Americans needs to visit Mexico City to come to appreaciate what we have accomplished with our air quality. What I am personally doing on my part is that I've reduced my harmful emmissions by 70-75% and I'm conserving my use of gasoline. I'm also doing things to conserve water.

I've seen a lot of stuff recently on the T.V and the situation looks pretty dire. Check out Golbal Dimming as well (in particular our efforts to reduce it) and how that's making the Global Warming situation even worse!

If we don't all act NOW our children and expecially their children will definately be doomed.

Global warming is happening. We can debate how much is caused by human activity, but it certainly isn't zero. Instead, we should tax carbon output and leave our incomes to us. A better balance would be achieved.

Global warming is a natural occurrence that has been going on since the Ice age, if not for GLOBAL WARMING the earth would be uninhabitable.

I believe that there are some serious shifts going on...both natural course of things, but also as a result of our attrocious abuses of our planet.

I find it interesting that I have not heard anything of the damage being done to our atmosphere by airplanes....?

I think you're right. Keep talking about it, even if people get angry at you or refuse to listen. Awareness is the only thing that's going to make change happen.

I doubt humans will be alive in 100 years, or there will be few survivors anyway. When we cause an ice-age or flood the port-cities with sea water, there will be huge wars to fight for land and food. We're doomed.
