Her sister, Venus Williams, when she was dominating the WTA tour some 4 or 5 years ago. And to the person who commented that Serena is out of shape and overweight, I think you have to check the facts because Serena is only 28 inches around her waist, which she mentioned in an interview, and she said that the people who make nasty comments about her being overweight and fat do so because they get that impression from her "big racks and fat azz" <-- her exact words. She said that the last time she checked, she was only 28 inches around the waist and that even if she were "thinner", her racks would remain as it is. I applaud Serena for being so candid in that interview because these people who call her derogatory names and stuff need a good helping of humble pie, cos Serena knows what they are saying and realizes that people will always say what they want to say, due to the false impression they get about her body shape or just simply out of spite.

There are tennis players with natural talent (Sampras, McEnroe, etc.) and players with their game based on drill, mussels, etc. like the Williams sisters. It’s pain just to watch their game. Women’s tennis is very inconsistence and players with ranks around 100 can beat players from the first 10, which can hardly happen in the men’s tournaments.
Anyway. I teach tennis for almost 20 years and I use sometimes videos from tournaments to show the right way how to play forehand, backhand, … I would never show Williams sisters if they would be the last tennis players on the Planet 

Ok, Venus is NOT Serena's twin, she's her older sister. And as for playing style, they're completely different. Serena is a one of a kind, but she's definitely not the best. Alot of power though, so she could be compared to some of the power players of the past.

Serena is very good in this day and age of the power game, but she's not even close to being as dominant in women's tennis as either Navratilova or Graf were.

Personally I think Navratilova had the most beautiful woman's game to watch. She had a beautiful serve and volley game and during her prime it was a treat watching her at the top of her game.

But of course the true serve and volley game has pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur now with the advent of the power game.

Serena Williams by far is not one of the best female players. I was disgusted over her win at the Australian Open. She is overweight and out of shape. Sharapova showed everyone that day that she cannot handle an off day (especially with her serve). If Serena had played Justine Henin-Hardenne (who was out for an injury), she would have lost. Hands down. Sharapova just let go, she stopped trying, something you NEVER do. You want to talk real tennis players? Virginia Wade. Chris Evert. Martina Navratilova. Steffi Graf. They are the greats. Not Serena Williams. Not her sister.

What do you mean, like? Do you mean, black? Yes, several, most recently her sister comes to mind. Do you mean, Good? Plenty have been better. Doubtful that she will reach the quality of player that Steffi or Martina Navratolova achieved but she certainly will retire a decent hall of famer.
FYI, Venus IS NOT her twin. She is her older sister.

No. Serena charges around the court like a bull.
Other female champions are more graceful compared to her.
