I am trying to find a wii and can't seem to find shipping dates. Does anyone know if any stores are going to sell them on the 3rd or 9th?

Like somebody else said, call the stores and just ask them. You should try what I did in November when I decided to purchase a Wii.

1) Make a list of all the stores you would like to purchase one from. Include their phone numbers.
2) Call and ask them when they are receiving shipments and when they will be putting them out for sale. Ask how many they will receive and if they expect a line. Finally, ask what time they will open on that day.
3) Ensure that you've written down the information, and then organize your "attack" based upon the information.

I was originally going to camp out at Best Buy across town from me, but after I made phone calls I learned that a regional superstore was going to be selling the largest number in the whole city (54, compared to 18-24 for all other places). What's more was this store was a short walk from my house. I'd have never guessed that they'd sell so many Wiis on release day, but I called them just to make sure they weren't. I was wrong! But I got my Wii and have been happy ever since.

Most of the big chain stores sell them on a Sunday. I think the only exception is Walmart. I think Walmart sells them on Wednesday. Toys R US might have them on a Saturday. Best Buy, Target, and Circuit City usually advertise the Wii in the Sunday paper.

usually the stores get about 3-10 every sunday..which would make it quite easy to get one but almost every major store is holding out unti march because that is when all of the big games come out...if they hold out until march then they will sell more software and accessories....your best bet now is ebay or else just wait till march....it's well worth the wait. i got mine jan 21 at circuit city :)

i suggest you go to Costco or Sam's Club first. Most of the time they get more than any other stores. It would also help if you used the technique mentioned above of the "attack" listing all the phone #'s and calling..
Hope you find one soon!
'and don't forget that Zeldais a good game! =]

There is this great website that helps in locating Wiis.

http://ps3seeker.com/wii/

It's called WiiSeeker, and after entering your zip code, it shows you what stores do carry them, when each will be getting a new shipment, and the approximate amount recieved. It works very well; that's how I got mine.

No, you may basically use a interest cube controller for interest cube video games, because it has buttons the classic controller would not. even nonetheless, interest cube controllers may well be picked up for extra or less £5/$10 at a interior of reach interest keep or someplace like Amazon. desire this helps, Tom.

you have to call every store around and hope your timing is just right!! they are very hard to get (IT THE LUCK OF THE DRAW IN THESE CASES) inless you do the ebay which (of course just wants your money) and ask when you call when the trucks are supose to arrive and be there then and youll get one!!! they are so worth the aggravation though. good luck!

You could try adding your email to a notification service that checks for Wii stock automatically
