It takes 4 months from the day the "pay or quit" notice is posted on your door until the sheriff arrives at the door to escort you out.

There are several court dates you must attend during the process.

It is an ugly stressful process for both tenant and landlord.

An eviction will ruin your credit and cost the landlord a lot of money.

If you are trying to evict someone else...many months...
If you are the one getting evicted...a few days...
It's in a sub-paragraph of "Murphy's Law" ;)
