Better than Brett Favre, c'mon Indian boy just stick with your sorry *** curry smelling Indian cricket team. Tony Rommo well have a good carrer and maybe make it to 3 or 4 pro bowls and since he has TO he's got a gret team and offensive players to work with.

The real question is 'Can he shake off the drop?' Honestly that's going make or break his career. He got on a roll to start up, and kindof got big-headed and was the center of attention in the NFL for awhile. Now that he's made a huge mistake he's going to have to realize that greatness doesn't come so easy and he's going to have to make it over this obsticle.
He has great poise in the pocket, and also the ability to get around. He's very calm and cool most of the time and if he can continue to get better he could be great. But the thing to remember is he's been in the NFL for 4 years already, he's not this rookie that came out of nowhere that everyone treats him as. He's been backing up quarterbacks with experience like Testaverde and Bledso, and has learned from them. If nothing else it shows he has the ability to learn how to play the game like a pro, but can he act like one too? Only time will tell.

Tony is still an unknown as far as a long term career. I think he has an excellent chance to be a great quarterback - working in the right system. He will overcome the 'drop' - by proving himself this next year. He will probably overcome it if he can hold in the Pro Bowl.
If he can resist the "Hollywood" hoopla that has already started because of his good looks and personality -- he should do very well in the next several years - as a Cowboy, or whoever.

Let's not get carried away. A Hall of Famer??? C'mon. He could be a good QB, maybe even great, but there's no way of knowing how that one play is going to effect him. I hope that it has a positive effect on the rest of his career because he is definitely the best QB we've had since Aikman, but as Parcells would say......let's put away the annointing oil and see how the kid turns out. I like your enthusiasm, but lets not place unattainable expectations on the kid. Lets get a couple of rings before we put him in the Hall of Fame.

Football history is full of guys who played well for half a season but who were really not up to snuff as a long-term starter. Romo might be that guy, or might be better -- we certainly don't know yet. One thing IS certain though -- he's capable of choking when the pressure's on. It remains to be seen whether he's also capable of coming through in the clutch some of the time.
