Over priced and far to many miles

Is it the diesel? If so then good for 400k. Sold a 405 esate diesel with 250k on the clock and still going great. Mind £1295 seems a bit steep considering age and miles. If its diesel then not a penny over £900. Petrol then not a penny over £750.

Just read these pages & see the number of questions about broken Peugeots. Is 1300 quid a lot of money to you? Buy a Mondeo or a Passat for that money instead.

if its got a full service history it should be o.k. but they are not a good car, the ford mondeo is a much better car and there are millions out there for sale so they tend to be very cheep, i recently bought a 1998 mondeo 1.8TD with sensible mileage and in perfect condition for £600 in a private sale for my son.

i wouldnt bother, if that was you before i would go for the bmw. pergeot are problem motors, mate of mine bought a 306 after less than a month after he got it till when it went 3 years later non stop problems
