Treason seem to be a good reason, war crimes another reason, was'nt Hitler.s colaborators tryied for torture and genocide,! cheney Rumsfeld and Bush should be tried for the same. Betraying the treaty of the US with the UN was treason since such a treaty is the law of the land once signed by the US.!

Your question is asinine... have you READ anything stating that impeachment has started ??

Now... go get your US Government book or a copy of the Constitution and NOTE... Impeachment takes place in the House of Representatives and is the equivalent of a Grand Jury handing down an indictment. IF Articles of Impeachment are handed down by the HOUSE... it must THEN move to the Senate for TRIAL.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Hilter's collaborators / lieutenants were tried by an INTERNATIONAL court for complicity

And as someone prior correctly pointed out... we don't HAVE any treaty with the UN because it is NOT a sovereign nation (although you'd have difficulty convincing liberals that it's not the equivalent of the Holy Roman Empire... a nation-God).

Now go study alittle more before you post another foolish, unresearched query.

If Bush had been impeached, he wouldn't be sitting in the White House right now. He's still President.

Besides, the impeaching process is useless now. With only a year left for Bush in the White House, there would already be a new President by the time the impeaching process was done.

Impeaching can take months, even years. Bush is gonna be out of here in 2008, so what's the point now?

Wherever your head has been - I think even there it would have noticed an impeachment procedure.

There cannot be a treaty with the United Nations since the UN is not a country. We have agreements we have signed, but they do not have the force of a treaty in law - and membership is voluntary for all countries.

Being angry with Bush and his actions is certainly your right. People will take more notice of your passion if your opinions are expressed clearly, and are based on facts.

I know it pains the left to no end, but words have actual definitions. You might want to review Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

EDIT: I'll give them this much, liberals are nothing if not single-minded in their hatred and partisanship. I love the fact I've gotten two thumbs down already. I guess they've managed to amend the Constitution in the ten minutes since I posted Art. III, Sec. 3.

If we made a list of all the known ways Bush and his band of thieves and murderers have broken the law it would be long enough to cover the entire eastern coastline.

I seriously think you should do some research on international law and the Law of War.

Nothing you said made sense.
