well i haven't played that game in a while so i can't remeber where the coins are at but i know that there aren't any type in cheat codes...the only cheat is to play as Luigi and that is when your about to open your save game hold down the L and R button at the same time until the game starts.

if you press and hold L, R before selecting the file you get to play as luigi!!!
